Some words on the behalf of Just before dawn for Bits and Pieces.

For us it is all about having fun doing something we like. This means we have taken away all stress factors and are left with the pure joy of creating music. So, every song you hear from us is the result of us having fun, diving into the amazing landscapes that music allows us to experience. Some of it might be dark and depressed, some of it to noisy, all of it imperfect, but hey, we’re making music and it makes us feel good.

Because of this it is especially nice to have amazing positive people surrounding us, contributing to the joyful process. I would like to mention a few of them by name, because their spirit really means a lot to us. We have people who give us time, positive and constructive feedback, such as Linda Følsvik (taking care of everything else while I’m in studio), Atle Bertelsen (the blues harp you provided can be heard on “Running out of time”), Markus Tveit Kvam and David “Crossbowmen” for constructive feedback for the sketches. And Truls Birkeland who has been an inspirator since we started hundred years ago. Tone Elise Dagsvik doing amazing artwork, Anette Storstein and Pia Aasland Bertelsen for great singing. Heidi Kvam (who does not hate Instagram).

People like these makes it fun to create more music. So to everyone, hope you enjoy “Bits and Pieces” and all the effort we have put into it.
